Having never taken any editor seriously, recently I was made aware of how good emacs distros have become. There is quite a bit of ecosystem of editors with plugins and extensions. I tried Doom emacs for few days. I was liking it quite a bit until I broke it myself. I realized that I lack the motivation to maintain an editor. Probably would have been easier if I truly wanted to learn it’s core etc. But I still wanted what Doom emacs offered.

I remembered neo vim. After a few keyword plays on Google I found 2 distros (more like configuration frameworks) for neo vim. I am liking them both and trying them in different use cases. AstroVim is definitely more feature rich but NVChad is more stable and lightweight. And none of them break as much to require too much time commitment. Definitely enjoying these better than VSCode.
